FIELD TRIP
EXPLORING ALAPUZHA - A DAY OF LEARNING AND JOY
As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we had a wonderful one-day field trip to Alappuzha. A group of 18 students and 2 teachers took part in this exciting journey. We started the day with a peaceful houseboat ride through the calm and scenic backwaters, which gave us a refreshing and relaxing start. Our next stop was the Revi Karunakaran Museum, where we got to see an amazing collection of art, antiques, and cultural items that truly fascinated us.
After the museum visit, we headed to a traditional coir factory, where we observed how coir is made from coconut husks using both manual and machine methods. It was a very informative experience that helped us appreciate the importance of local industries. The day ended with a relaxing walk along the beach, enjoying the cool breeze and the sunset. The trip was a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment, and it left us with many beautiful memories to cherish.
